ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have learned and practiced MATLAB, PSpice, HSpice and C++ programming. 

 

I worked on a special project under the guidance of Professor An-Yue (Andy) Wu of the National Taiwan University DSP/IC Design Lab., studying and implementing many Fast Fourier Transform architectures with MATLAB and Verilog. 

 

I worked on a special project with Professor Chi-Kuang Sun in the National Taiwan University Electrical Engineering Department's Ultrafast Optics Laboratory, studying the use of noninvasive optical microscopy for biomedicine. 

 

I participated in the 2000 Literature Camp held by the National Taiwan University Department of Chinese Literature.

 

I took Japanese and German classes and attended the 5-week 2002 German Language and Culture Program held jointly by Hamburg University and National Taiwan University in Hamburg, Germany. 

 

I was chosen to participate in the 2002 Training Program on International Health and Diplomacy held by the Foundation of Medical Professionals Alliance in Taiwan, and the 2003 International Affairs Seminar held by the China Youth Corps.

 

I took part in the seven-day 2002 Financial Seminar held by the Department of Finance of National Taiwan University.

 

I joined the National Taiwan University Kind Kids Club, a community service club dedicated to serving the economically disadvantaged children in their academic studies. I actively served as counselor in weekend activities, spring and summer camps, and provided tutoring to children in need.

 

I currently host a Chinese bbs (Telnet Bulletin Board System) board of the Houston Rockets, in charge of the fan forum and frequently providing information, comments and translations of the latest news.
